Parties

It doesn't have to be just a birthday to have a party. Owego Gymnastics will do a party for any occasion. Let the Center host your next party. One hour of gym time and forty five minutes for you to have refreshments. Check out the Party Page for more information.

Other Offerings at the Center

The Center does not only offer gymnastics, dance, karate, cheerleading and adult fitness classes, but also private lessons, field trips and clinics.

Private Lessons: Individual or small group instructions by one of our coaching staff. 1/2 hour and 1 hour lessons available. Contact the office at 687-2458 or e-mail us to set up a private lesson or for more information.

Field Trips: Field trips for youth groups, shcool groups, or scouts. Contact the office at 687-2458 or e-mail us and let us help you plan a great field trip for your group.

Clinics: We can plan clinics for specific groups or skills (such as handsprings). Contact the office at 687-2458 or e-mail us and we can plan a clinic time that will fit your needs.

All prices and information on the website are subject to change. All returned checks $25 fee.
Late fee of $10 charged after the second class.

Gym Kids* - Preschool Readiness Program

Owego Gymnastics Preschool Readiness Program is now taking sign-ups. We will be offering mornings or afternoons in the Fall. There will be only 6 spaces in each class time. Please email us with your preference and we will put you on the list. Check out the Gym Kids page or email for more information! *Gym Kids is NOT a preschool program. Gym Kids is a program to ready children for the preschool experience. Scholarships Available!

Dance Classes

TerpsiDance formerly Children's Preparatory Ballet Academy a school dedicated to teaching the art of dance. TerpsiDance will offer Pre-ballet, ballet, contemporary, and jazz.

Strawberry Festival Parade and Strawberry Shake & Shortcake Runs

June 15: StrawberryShortcake 1 Mile Run - 6-12 year olds at 5:30
Strawberry Shake 5K Run - 6 & up at 6:00
The Center will have coaches running in both Runs so children that want to run will be with the Center Coaches. Parents may also run, but they will need to sign up also. For more information

June 16: Strawberry Festival Parade
The Center will be marching in the Strawberry Festival Parade. All Recreational, STARS, Team and friends of the Center are invited to participate. Coaches will be marching. More info at the Center.

No Annual Commitment for our Recreational Programs

Does your child want to try a new activity? Don't want to sign-up for months of classes until you know the new activity is right for you and your child? Come join us at the Center! Recreational classes are a month to month comittment.

Taste of Yoga

If you think you can't do yoga? Think again!! The Center will be offering beginning and intermediate/advance Yoga beginning in January.

Cost: $50 for 6 weeks

Saturdays 8:45-9:45 am or 10:00-11:15 am
Wednesdays 7:15-8:15 pm

Center Receives Grants

Owego Gymnastics is excited to announce the receipt of several area grants. Thank you so much!

Floyd Hooker Grant: The Center received a monetary grant for our new Kids R Special Program to help children to attend the Center with Special Needs. This grant was funded by a grant from the Floyd Hooker Grant of the Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT), made possible by generous donors since 2002 December 2010

Schwan's Fundraiser

The Center will be hosting the Schwan's Foods truck at the Center on Wednesday, May 23,2012 between 4:00-8:00 pm. There are two ways in which to purchase food. The best way to purchase the food you want is to order online using the Center's code 39316 . Just use the book provided to you or go to the Schwan's website to get the product numbers and then order online and pick up your order on May 23. This will insure that you
are able to get the food which you want. If you do not order online, you can always drop by and see what the Schwan's truck has to offer. The Center does receive a percentage of the sales on the day.

The Center offers both Gymnastics Programs beginning through Competitive Team and Activity Programs for Preschool Readiness, Special Needs Children, Dance, School Vacation Fun Days, Summer Fun Weeks, and Kids Night Out. We also offer Parties, Private lessons, Field trips, Clinics and Zumba for adults. Come join the fun at Owego Gymnastics and Activity Center! Check back often for news and additional programming. Owego Gymnastics Annual Golf Tournament

When: Friday August 10, 2012
Time: Sign in and cart assignments 12 noon - 1pm with Shotgun start 1:10pm
Where: The beautiful Pheasant Hill Country Club
Cost: Just $240.00 per team (Captain and Crew)

Includes food at the turn, awards, and dinner to close the Tournament.
With Skins, closest to the pin, longest drive and other great prizes and raffles

Summer at the Center

The Center will begin Summer schedule on Saturday, July 7th. Remember, the Center is open all summer for Recreational class, S.T.A.R.S., Team and Summer Fun Weeks.
